As I mentioned previously, I’m really into the band Rocketship Park right now, and if you’ve got two, perhaps three, minutes we can all come together, have a big internet hug (simulated on the right), sip a cup of green tea and talk about true, existential harmony — which is to say, help Rocketship Park win an online, corporate contest. Click on this link to watch a video of them playing their great song “Seasons”, signup (you just have to enter your email address) and vote for them (which you can do three times, although, I won’t hold it against you if you want to vote for “Jam-men”. OK, yes I will.)
And how is this relevant? Well, check it: RP singer/songwriter-man Josh Kaufman has produced three tracks for the upcoming SDR record. If they win this contest that’ll free up more time for Josh to be awesome-music-guy which might include producing more SDR tracks, but it’ll definitely include making more RP, and that’s a wonderful thing.

Great news for Rocketship Park, but in order to vote they ask us for a valid address within the US.

Ah yes, about that, just fake a US address. The thing is you’ll have to provide a zip code which matches the city you supposedly live in. Here’s a (decidedly nifty) address you could use:
12 Travis Street
New York, NY
zip code: 10012

I wish I lived outside the country just to fake a zip code. Oh well, there’s other things I can fake.
I hope Rocketship Park wins, I’ve used all 3 of my votes on them everyday since this things started!
